Accepting Responsibility for Where We Land our Feet

Ashi ga ochiru basho no sekinin o ukeiremasu.

Accept responsibility for where your feet fall.

Awakening comes Noticing Original Buddha DNA. Everywhere our feet fall, mindfully accept responsibility for that step.

The above said, I was told be a dharma heir of the late Keido Fukushima, Roshi that consistently, he would invite those he encountered to move attention and awareness from their head, and place it beneath the feet. I began doing so and discovered it influenced my actions powerfully. In This Way, It became clear that there’s a difference between walking by default and walking by mindful intention and design.
